I am in love with the creative process, I think I always have been. That probably explains my inability to stick to one style, subject, or theme. I find myself often lost in detail, in the movement of hair, or the light on a surface.I I would say that my process is ever-evolving, as I am always striving to capture that initial fascination with my subject.

I love the way light dances on the ocean and reflects a mirror image of the clouds, streams through a wooded path, or illuminates a cheek, and I am constantly learning new ways to capture the light- it is a never ending source of fascination. Sometimes I’m even successful at capturing that light!

I have been an art teacher for over 25 years, and am currently teaching children’s classes at Studio School and privately. I am constantly inspired by their energy and excitement, and love being able to share my love with them.
